The Glens' Restaurant

Good food from a choice menu which captures the flavours of
Scotland, that's the signature of the Royal Hotel. Our masterchef
prepares dishes to appreciate using the best of fresh local produce
and the finest ingredients.

The Glens' Restaurant - richly decorated in Victorian style -
presents quality cuisine in comfortable surroundings and a relaxing
atmosphere. Its menu is sure to satisfy all tastes and our
comprehensive wine list complements the dishes perfectly.
Alternatively, meet-for-a-treat in the lively and informal
Lounge Bar which serves Bar Lunches & Suppers with an
excellent accompanying selection of beers, spirits,
wines and drinks from the bar. Bon Appetit!
Special Events

With a large dance floor, table settings to accommodate up-to-150
guests and its own Lounge Bar, the Royal Hotel's Function Suite
proves an excellent venue for all social events:-
- Wedding Receptions
- Birthday/Anniversary Celebrations
- Funeral Teas
- Ceilidhs and Concerts
- Large Group Meetings
- Private Functions
We are pleased to help and advice
on the organisation and catering
requirements for these special
occasions.
There's also a calendar of 'occasional' dances
throughout the year - on special dates such as Burns'
Night, St Valentine's Day, Christmas and Hogmanay.
These are very popular with residents and locals alike.
Art Gallery
As a supporter of local Perthshire and Scottish artists, the Royal Hotel
displays a range of works covering different themes and subject
matter. All pictures are for sale, so enquiries can be made at the
reception desk.

Craft Fairs showing the skills and
creativity of local craftworkers -
including pottery, jewellery work, wood
products, paper/card items and
glassware - are also occasionally held in
the Hotel's Function Suite.
Entertainment

Let us entertain you. The social side of the Royal Hotel comes
into its own in the evenings when guests have a chance to enter into
the spirit of the music. Ceilidhs, dancing to live bands (from
traditional Scottish dance music, folk music to blues music and
country & western), solo performers, special acts and discos are
regularly featured throughout the year - particularly during the
summer months.
Hotel owner Iain McLean may even entertain you and set the feet
a-tapping with a tune on the bagpipes!
Lounge Bar

The relaxed bar has long been a popular place for both visitors and local residents.
With a fine selection of beers, wines, spirits and whisky it's a very pleasant place to be after you've finished your day's activities.
Play some pool, listen to some music or just enjoy the good atmosphere and conversation.
